Carl was born into a home where TV and Radio were considered Instruments of the Devil, and thus grew up on appropriate classical music. He learned how to play the Cello at age eight, liked it and had good rhythm for being mostly Norwegian.
TV crept into Carl’s childhood home in time for the Lunar Landings in 1971. He and his siblings watched cartoons and plenty of 70's sitcoms and didn't feel at all evil.
Later, after garnering an Art and Communications degree in college, Carl White got hooked on producing demos for local Rap Crews. This endeavor turned his home studio into a business called Sing Sing Recording. After four years with Sing Sing, Carl made his foray into the audio post business as a mixer for Crash & Sue’s and Echo Boys Music. White enjoyed a successful seven-year tenure there, recording music, creating sounds, and mixing spots for a million clients. He then started BWN with Ken and all was right with the world.
